Chaipirinha – Buttermilk Cream
The perfect chaipirinha – buttermilk cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Limes unsprayed
- 1 packet Ground gelatin
- 6 tbsp Water
- 1 tbsp Vanilla sugar own production
- 100 g Sugar
- 350 ml Buttermilk
- 50 ml Sugar cane schnapps
- 100 ml Cream
- Wash the limes hot …. dry them off and rub the peel off … I couldn’t because I only got splashed limes. Halve the limes and squeeze out
- soak the gelatine in 6 tablespoons of cold water for 10 minutes. Mix the buttermilk with sugar, vanilla sugar, cane schnapps and the lime juice
- Dissolve the gelatine in the microwave and stir in. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in
- Fill the cream into molds, if you don’t have one, take dessert bowls and let them set in the refrigerator … that takes about 3 hours
- Before serving, dip the mold briefly in hot water and carefully press the cream out of the mold ….. decorate as desired
