Chaipirinha – Buttermilk Cream

The perfect chaipirinha – buttermilk cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Limes unsprayed
  • 1 packet Ground gelatin
  • 6 tbsp Water
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla sugar own production
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 350 ml Buttermilk
  • 50 ml Sugar cane schnapps
  • 100 ml Cream
  1. Wash the limes hot …. dry them off and rub the peel off … I couldn’t because I only got splashed limes. Halve the limes and squeeze out
  2. soak the gelatine in 6 tablespoons of cold water for 10 minutes. Mix the buttermilk with sugar, vanilla sugar, cane schnapps and the lime juice
  3. Dissolve the gelatine in the microwave and stir in. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in
  4. Fill the cream into molds, if you don’t have one, take dessert bowls and let them set in the refrigerator … that takes about 3 hours
  5. Before serving, dip the mold briefly in hot water and carefully press the cream out of the mold ….. decorate as desired
