Crispy Fried Chicken (Ricky Harris)

  • 4 lb Chicken
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Rose peppers
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp Ground garlic
  • 1 tsp Bruschetta
  • Garlic
  • Basil
  • Tomato
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 l Vegetable oil
  1. Take the cut chicken pieces and skin and season the chicken pieces with paprika, salt and pepper. Then roll the chicken pieces in flour. Fill a large skillet (cast iron is best) about 1/3 to 1/2 full with vegetable oil. Heat to very hot. Put as many chicken pieces in the pan as the pan can hold. Brown the chicken pieces in hot oil on both sides. When browned, reduce the heat and leave the lid on the pan. Leave the baked chicken pieces on a baking rack to drain. Then the pieces can be served warm.
