Ham, Apple and Cabbage Rolls
The perfect ham, apple and cabbage rolls recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Onion
- 1 tablespoon Clarified butter
- 500 g Sauerkraut
- 2 Apples
- 12 Discs Raw ham
- 2 tablespoon Bread flour
- 6 Potatoes
- 6 Broth
- 6 Gravy
- 4 tablespoon Roasted onions
- Peel the onion, cut into small cubes and sauté in the clarified butter.
- Add the sauerkraut and heat, stirring constantly.
- Peel the apples, cut them into cubes and mix with the sauerkraut.
- Lay out the ham, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, top with the apple cabbage and roll up tightly
- Peel and roughly dice the potatoes and pre-cook them in the hot stock.
- Grease a baking dish thinly, add the potatoes and spread the ham rolls on top
- Heat the gravy, sprinkle the fried onions and pour the sauce evenly over the ham rolls.
- Now put it in the 160 c. Oven for about 30 minutes. Take out and let rest a little then arrange on a plate.
