Ham, Apple and Cabbage Rolls

The perfect ham, apple and cabbage rolls recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Onion
  • 1 tablespoon Clarified butter
  • 500 g Sauerkraut
  • 2 Apples
  • 12 Discs Raw ham
  • 2 tablespoon Bread flour
  • 6 Potatoes
  • 6 Broth
  • 6 Gravy
  • 4 tablespoon Roasted onions
  1. Peel the onion, cut into small cubes and sauté in the clarified butter.
  2. Add the sauerkraut and heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Peel the apples, cut them into cubes and mix with the sauerkraut.
  4. Lay out the ham, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, top with the apple cabbage and roll up tightly
  5. Peel and roughly dice the potatoes and pre-cook them in the hot stock.
  6. Grease a baking dish thinly, add the potatoes and spread the ham rolls on top
  7. Heat the gravy, sprinkle the fried onions and pour the sauce evenly over the ham rolls.
  8. Now put it in the 160 c. Oven for about 30 minutes. Take out and let rest a little then arrange on a plate.
