Cookies with Chocolate Chips
The perfect cookies with chocolate chips recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Soft butter
- 150 g Sugar brown
- 2 tbsp Bourbon vanilla sugar
- 2 Egg yolk
- 250 g Flour
- 50 Gr Strength
- 50 Gr Baking powder
- 100 g Ground almonds
- 120 Size Chocolate chips
- Mix the softened butter with the brown sugar and vanilla sugar well with the mixer or food processor. Add egg yolks and stir for another 5 minutes. Mix the flour, starch, baking powder and the ground almonds in another bowl. Then add to the dough, mix briefly, then stir with the dough hook. Finally add the chocolate chips and knead in with your hands.
- Shape the dough into a ball, cover with cling film and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour. (Possibly leave it in the fridge longer, the dough was quite soft for me).
- Preheat the oven to 160 degrees circulating air. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Roll out the dough and cut out with round molds.
- Bake lightly for 12 minutes, should not brown. Allow to cool on the baking sheet and then place on a wire rack to cool down, then place in a cookie jar lined with baking paper and close.
- When you open the can the next day, it smells wonderfully of butter and almond. You could always eat the cookies, not just for Advent.
- Tip 6: it is essential to use brown sugar, it gives a crunchy bite and does not taste too sweet. I also used chocolate chips for the first time, they are great.
- Enjoy baking and snacking.
