Pasta with Tomatoes, Ricotta & Grana Padano

The perfect pasta with tomatoes, ricotta & grana padano recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • Pasta
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • Ricotta
  • Grana Padano
  • Olive oil
  • Chopped garlic
  1. Cook pasta according to your preference, e.g. spaghetti and macaroni in salted water according to the instructions.
  2. Heat two tablespoons of olive oil in a saucepan, add the chopped garlic, sauté briefly and then add the halved cherry tomatoes. Steam with the lid on low heat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Drain the pasta, mix with two tablespoons of olive oil, add salt if necessary and mix with the tomato-garlic sauce.
  4. Place on a plate, sprinkle with fresh pepper, sprinkle with several small dabs of ricotta and freshly grated Grana Padano.
  5. Enjoy!
