Spring Onion and Cheese Quiche
The perfect spring onion and cheese quiche recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
dough
- 150 g Flour
- 100 g Cold butter
- 90 ml Water
- 1 pinch Salt
Covering
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 150 g Boiled ham, diced
- 150 g Mountain cheese, freshly grated
- 150 g Sour cream
- 1 bunch Spring onions, cut into fine rolls
- Nutmeg
- Black pepper from the mill
- Salt

- Put the flour in a bowl, add the butter in flakes, as well as the pinch of salt and the water and then quickly work everything into a smooth dough with your hands, wrap it in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Covering
- Beat the two eggs in a bowl until frothy, add the garlic and stir in well. Now add the diced ham and the grated mountain cheese and stir well. Now add the sour cream and the spring onion rolls and mix everything very well and now season everything with nutmeg, pepper and salt.

- Roll out the dough between two sheets of foil and now place the greased tart pan upside down on the dough and cut to size with a seam allowance of approx. 2 cm, now turn the tart pan with the dough over and let the dough slide into the mold and adapt to the shape. Prick the tart base several times with a fork.
- Now distribute the topping evenly on the floor and bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for approx. 40 – 45.
