Buttercream Brittle Roll

The perfect buttercream brittle roll recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g Flour
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 3 tbsp Water warm
  • 4 Pc. Egg
  • 250 g Butter
  • 70 g Powdered sugar
  • 1 Fl Vanilla flavor
  • 75 g Brittle
  1. Beat the eggs with warm water on the highest setting with the hand mixer until foamy
  2. Add the sugar and continue beating
  3. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir in
  4. Spread the dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake lightly for 10-15 minutes at 180 degrees top and bottom heat
  5. Take the dough out of the oven, carefully turn the baking paper out onto a tea towel, loosen the baking paper, roll it up with the help of the tea towel and let it cool down
  6. For the cream, mix the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla flavor well, roll up the cooled rolling pin, fill with 2/3 of it and carefully roll it together
  7. Spread the rest of the buttercream on the outside and sprinkle with brittle
