Pan Fried Chicken Kohlrabi

The perfect pan fried chicken kohlrabi recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 gr Chicken fillets
  • 2 Onions
  • 500 gr Mushrooms
  • 2 Kohlrabi fresh
  • 3 Pc. Garlic fresh
  • 3 tsp Sweet paprika
  • 300 ml Vegetable broth
  • 2 tsp Flour
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chopped parsley
  1. Cut the chicken fillet into cubes. Peel the kohlrabi and cut into pieces approx. 2 cm long and 1 cm thick. Cut the onions into small cubes. Peel and squeeze the garlic. Cut the mushrooms into slices.
  2. Fry the chicken cubes in a pan with oil. Remove and set aside.
  3. Possibly add a little more oil to the remaining oil. Fry the onions with the garlic in the oil. Add the kohlrabi and the mushrooms and fry briefly.
  4. Remove the pan with the vegetables from the heat, sprinkle the paprika and flour on top and mix well. Now add the broth and mix everything well.
  5. Put the pan back on the stove and let it boil briefly. Then cover and simmer on medium heat for about 10 minutes. Add the meat again and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
