Gypsy Meatballs
The perfect gypsy meatballs recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the gypsy sauce
- 1 Egg
- 1 Onion cubes
- 1 Rolls, soak in water
- Salt, pepper, paprika, cumin
- 1 Onion, dice
- 2 Peppers, green, red, wash, cut into strips
- 1 Eßl Tomato paste
- 150 ml Vegetable broth
- 1 Slice of jalapeño, finely chop
- 3 Eßl Tomato ketchup
- Salt pepper
- Oil
- Mix the ground beef, egg, diced onion, rolls and spices together and form small meatballs out of them.
- Fry the meatballs in a pan with a little oil for about 10 minutes on all sides. Set aside
- In a saucepan with a little oil, sauté the onion cubes and paprika strips for about 5 minutes. Stir in the tomato paste, deglaze with the vegetable stock, simmer slowly for another 5 minutes.
- Now season with tomato ketchup, the spices and the finely chopped jalapeño, add the meatballs. This goes well with rice, pasta or potatoes. Enjoy your meal
