Orange Passion Fruit Jelly

The perfect orange passion fruit jelly recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 8 piece Passion fruits / maracujas
  • 800 ml Freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice
  • Orange zest
  • 450 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
  1. Peel off the peel of the organic oranges (depending on the size you need 4-5 pieces) with a zest cutter and cut them into small pieces. (I always dried it on stock) Then squeeze the fruit and collect about 800ml of juice. Halve the passion fruit and remove the pulp, discard the peel. Squeeze 1 lime and collect the juice.
  2. Mix all ingredients together and weigh them, then weigh the required amount of preserving sugar and stir in.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it boil for about 4-5 minutes, lift off any rising foam, then make a gelling test.
  4. Fill the finished mass into prepared glasses, put the lid on it and turn it over for about 5 minutes to let the vacuum draw, then turn it over and let it cool down.
  5. 5th mass makes 5 glasses of 220 ml each.
