Tandoori Chicken

The perfect tandoori chicken recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Chicken drumsticks or 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp Ground garlic
  • 2 tsp Ground ginger
  • 400 ml Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Honey liquid
  • 6 tbsp Tandoori spice
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Peel the chicken legs and cut them at the joint. Cut into the meat with the knife.
  2. For the marinade: mix the yogurt with the spices, honey and lemon juice.
  3. Spread the marinade over the chicken pieces and chill in the fridge for at least 12.
  4. Fry the chicken pieces in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 45 minutes. Halve the roasting time for chicken breasts.
