Bell Pepper Fish Burger Bodrog Sandwich
The perfect bell pepper fish burger bodrog sandwich recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the pepper fish
- 800 g Haddock fresh
- 150 g Flour
- 1 tbsp Sweet paprika powder
- 1 tbsp Smoked paprika powder
- Salt
- Pepper
For the tartar sauce
- 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 2 tsp Mustard
- 3 Pc. Pickles small
- 2 tsp Capers
- 1 Pc. Hard boiled egg
- 0,5 Pc. Fresh shallot
- 1 shot Pickle Water
- Garlic
- Fresh dill
- Fresh parsley
For the sandwich
- 2 Pc. Baguette
- Salad
- Tomato
“Gerichte-Geschichte”
- A classic of Hungarian cuisine, the pepper fish, reinterpreted by us as a “to go” meal in a sandwich or burger bun with fresh Atlantic haddock and our own tartar sauce.
Preparing fish
- Mix the flour and paprika well. cut the fish into small pieces of fillet, season with salt and pepper.
- Turn the fillet pieces well in the paprika flour and pound the flour.
- Fry both sides in a little oil in a hot pan.
Preparation of tartar sauce
- Mix the mayonnaise and mustard well.
- Gradually stir in the chopped onion, cucumber and capers. Finally press in the hard-boiled egg.
- Refine with fresh dill and parsley.
The sandwich
- Halve the fresh baguette and cut open.
- Cover with lettuce, tomatoes and the fish fillets, season with tartar sauce.
