Raisin Bundt Cake

The perfect raisin bundt cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Butter
  • 200 g Extra fine sugar
  • 5 piece Free range eggs
  • 200 g Flour smooth
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 3 tablespoon Rum
  • 60 g Chocolate
  • 60 g Nuts
  • 100 g Raisins
  1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Brush the shape with butter. Sprinkle with flour. Coarsely chop the nuts and chocolate, mix with the flour. Separate the eggs into yolks and clear. Mix the butter with 60g sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt. Yolks, raisins and Gradually mix in the rum. Beat the egg whites with the remaining sugar to a snow. Alternately fold in the snow and flour mixture. Pour the mixture into the mold and bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour. Turn the kugelhupf out of the mold. Let cool and sprinkle with icing sugar.
