Marzipan Balls, Simple

The perfect marzipan balls, simple recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Marzipan raw mass, e.g. in m. KB
  • 12 drops Rose water
  • 6 tbsp Cocoa powder slightly de-oiled

Shape balls while wearing food gloves:

  1. Divide the marzipan into even lumps on a wooden board and shape into 2.5 cm balls by hand.

wet and powder:

  1. Put some cocoa powder in a bowl, wet the balls with the rose water and roll them all around in the cocoa powder.

Storage:

  1. Scatter some cocoa powder into a suitable jar (preferably with a lid) as a sediment and layer the balls with confectionery tongs, sprinkle in each layer as an intermediate layer again as before, until the end. The powder also prevents the balls from becoming soaked and sticky during storage.

Use:

  1. Suitable for Christmas, espresso, coffee, tea and in between.
