Baked Apple Ice Cream
The perfect baked apple ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 6 Egg yolk
- 100 g Sugar
- 50 g Dextrose
- 130 ml Cream
- 40 ml Milkmaid
- 500 g Applesauce – in sugar
- 1 tube Taste of rum
- 1 tsp Cinnamon, who likes more?
- 1 tbsp Almonds, peeled, chopped
- Raisins, amount according to taste and needs
- Heat the cream, milk maiden and dextrose and then stir in the applesauce. Add the raisins, almonds, cinnamon and rum flavor and bring to the boil again. Remove from heat and let cool down a little.
- Beat the egg yolks and sugar over the hot water bath until the mixture has heated up but has not curdled. Take off the stove.
- Now pour both masses together, stir well, let cool and then put in the refrigerator for a few hours.
- When the mass has cooled down well, pour it into a suitable container and place it in the freezer. With this type of production, however, the mass must be stirred briefly once at least every 45 minutes so that no crystals form. This has to be repeated until the ice cream has the desired consistency.
- If you have an ice cream machine, prepare it according to the machine’s instructions.
