The perfect apple raisin fig cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Glas = 175 ml
- 3 Glasses Flour
- 1 Glass Sugar
- 1 Glass Milk or yogurt
- 1 Glass Oil
- 3 Eggs
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar or vanilla sugar
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 0,25 tsp Cinnamon
- 1,5 Apples peeled, cored and diced
- 0,5 Glass Raisins (optional)
- 4 Soft figs, chopped (optional)
- To pollinate:
- Powdered sugar
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC (fan oven 160º) and grease a 30-32 cm diameter baking pan.
- Put the eggs with salt, sugar, vanilla sugar, milk and oil in a bowl and stir well until the sugar has dissolved. Add the flour, baking powder and cinnamon and mix everything together to form a creamy batter.
- Finally, fold in the diced apples, raisins (optional) and figs (optional).
- Pour the dough into the greased pan, smooth it out and bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes. Don’t forget the stick test!
- As soon as the cake is cooked, let it cool down in the tin for 15 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack and let it cool down.
- Now place the cake on a cake plate, dust with powdered sugar and serve with cream.
- Of course, the cake tastes good even without raisins and figs. But somehow had to get rid of the raisins and figs hahahhaha: D
