The perfect cauliflower in panko beer batter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Cauliflower fresh
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 1 tbsp Worcester sauce
  • 2 handful Panko flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika powder
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • 150 ml Beer dark
  • Vegetable oil
  1. Clean the cauliflower and blanch it whole in boiling salted water (10 minutes). Let cool and cut into individual florets.
  2. Whisk eggs with milk, salt, pepper, paprika powder and Worcester sauce.
  3. Mix in the flour, beer and panko and let the mixture swell. Heat the oil (if you hold a wooden spoon in it and bubbles form, it is hot enough)
  4. Marinate the cauliflower with the batter and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  5. Pour onto kitchen crepe and drain. A cold beer with it 😉
