Sesame Rings – Simit

- 780 g Flour
- 2 packet Dry yeast
- 2 tsp Salt
- 100 ml Sunflower oil
- 300 ml Warm water

- 8 tbsp Pekmez
- 8 tbsp Water
- Sesame
- 1) Knead a dough from the first 5 ingredients and let it rise covered in a warm place for the first hour.
- 2) Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll a sausage out of each dough ball and twist it in.
- 3) Mix the pekmez with water and roll the dough rings in it. Then sprinkle with sesame seeds and place on a tray.
- 4) Let the sesame rings rise again for 1 hour and then bake in the preheated oven (220 °) for 25 minutes.
