Pan-fried Dishes: Potatoes – Onions – Red Sausage – Sauerkraut – Leftover Pan
The perfect pan-fried dishes: potatoes – onions – red sausage – sauerkraut – leftover pan recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 piece Thuringian red sausage
- Or similar
- 1 Pc. Onion
- Oregano (wild marjoram) spice
- 1 tbsp Clarified butter
- Boiled potatoes from the previous day
- From the day before
- Sauerkraut from the day before
- Sea-Salt
- Colorful pepper
- First peel the onion and cut it into cubes. Peel the sausage and cut into approx. 0.5 cm thick slices.
- Heat the clarified butter in a pan and sauté the onion until translucent. Cut the boiled potatoes and sauerkraut from the day before into small pieces and add to the onions in the pan and fry for about 10 minutes.
- Then put the sausage slices in the pan and heat them until the sausage slices have dissolved, add the wild oregano as desired, stir well and continue cooking for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season to taste and, if necessary, season with salt and pepper.
