Beetroot Pasta with Poppy Seeds

The perfect beetroot pasta with poppy seeds recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Beetroot tubers
  • 300 g Pasta
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 2 tbsp Raspberry vinegar
  • Salt pepper
  • Oil
  • Poppy
  1. Cut the beetroot into cubes, finely chop the onion and garlic.
  2. Put on the pasta and only cook for half of the cooking time.
  3. Sauté the onions, garlic and beetroot in oil. Add vinegar. Salt, pepper.
  4. Pour in the pasta and 500 ml of the pasta water. Simmer with the lid on until the pasta has soaked up the water.
  5. Serve sprinkled with poppy seeds.
