Bread Dumplings mixed
The perfect bread dumplings mixed recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 6 Pc. “Alte” Semmeln hell, Vollkorn, Körner, Weißbrot, evt. auch Breze
- 3 Pc. Eggs
- 1 bunch Finely chopped parsley
- 1 Pc. Diced onion
- 1 teaspoon Butter
- 0,25 liter Milk
- Salt, pepper from the mill
- Breadcrumbs, to thicken if necessary
- Cut the rolls (bread rolls) into cubes, pour hot, not boiling milk over them in a bowl, mix well. Let it steep for about 20 minutes
- Sauté the onions in butter until translucent, chop parsley, no matter which variety (naturally washed) and add both to the soaked rolls
- Season the 3 whisked eggs with salt and pepper and add them. Mix well, with a spoon or, better still, by hand. If the dough is still too soft, I gradually add breadcrumbs
- Form dumplings (approx. 6-8 depending on the desired size) Put in boiling salted water, then let it simmer for approx. 25 minutes with cream sauce
