Pork: Spicy Onion Neck Chops
The perfect pork: spicy onion neck chops recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Also:
- 1 Glass Pumpkin cubes, 400 g drained weight
- 4 Pc. Pork neck, approx. 200 g each
- 250 g Fresh onions
- 500 ml Vegetable broth
- 2 tsp Fine food starch
- Oil for frying
- Cayenne pepper
- Salt
- Wash and peel the potatoes, cut into large cubes and cook in salted water for about 15 minutes. In the meantime, drain the pumpkin cube in a colander. Rinse the pork neck chops under cold water and pat dry thoroughly.
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the neck chops for about 3 minutes on each side. Then season with salt and cayenne pepper.
- Drain the potatoes and spread them with the pumpkin in a baking dish and place the neck chops on top.
- Peel the onion and cut into rings, fry for about 4 minutes until golden brown and place on the neck chops.
- Now deglaze the frying stock with the vegetable stock. Stir the cornstarch in cold water until smooth, stir into the meat stock and bring to the boil again briefly. Season the sauce again to taste and pour over the chops and vegetables.
- Serve in a hot oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes and immediately hot!
