The perfect onion steak from pork neck with corncobs to gnaw recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Onion steaks:
- 2 marinated Neck steaks
- 2 Onions
- 2 Oil for frying
- Black pepper from the mill
- Salt
- Maggi wort
Corn on the cob:
- 4 small Frozen corn on the cob
- 30 g Clarified butter
- Halve the onions and cut into slices; then fry in a little oil, turning several times, until they are lightly browned; only now season with pepper, salt and a few drops of Maggi seasoning. Keep the fried onions warm between two plates until the steaks are fried.
- Fry the neck pieces in a little oil on both sides until they are appetizingly browned. Spread the onions on the steaks and serve with the corn on the cob. Oven hash browns go well with it.
- For the baby corn, melt the clarified butter in a small pan and put the frozen corn in it. Cover and fry for about 17 minutes over a medium heat, turning the flasks every now and then, they should be browned golden all around. By the way: Spices are not needed … the tender corn tastes just as it is, excellent!
- Put small corn forks in the cobs to serve … this makes gnawing the delicious grains easier.
