Plaice Fillet with Rocket and Capers

The perfect plaice fillet with rocket and capers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Discs Plaice fillet
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 75 g Butter
  • 1 small Onion red
  • 1 tbsp Capers
  • 1 bunch Arugula
  • 2 tbsp Fish stock
  1. Wash the plaice fillets, pat dry, season with salt and pepper and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
  2. Heat the butter, peel the onion and cut into rings. Drain the capers, wash, clean and spin dry the rocket. Add everything to the butter and cook until the rocket collapses. Deglaze with the fish stock and the remaining lemon juice ,Season with salt and pepper .
  3. Place the fish fillets on top and cook for about 3 minutes on each side. Serve with rocket and caper butter. Serve with basmati rice.
