Fish: Fillet of Plaice Steamed in Smoked Salmon on Vegetable Patch

The perfect fish: fillet of plaice steamed in smoked salmon on vegetable patch recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 piece Plaice fillet naturally frozen
  • 200 g Smoked salmon
  • 150 g Fresh leek
  • 150 g Diced carrots
  • 150 ml Vegetable broth
  • 100 ml White wine
  • Salt and pepper
  • 0,5 Bd Finely chopped parsley
  1. Thaw the plaice fillet from the freezer compartment in the refrigerator, pat dry and cut in half. Wrap each with two slices of smoked salmon. To keep the fish nice and juicy, wrap an outer leaf of the leek as a roll and fix it with a toothpick.
  2. Season the vegetables with the wine and the vegetable broth with salt and pepper and sauté, place the fish on top and cook with the lid closed and at medium temperature for about 20 minutes. Turn fish packets halfway through.
  3. I recommend removing the leek from the fish packets and serving the vegetables with parsley and boiled rice.
