Warnemünde Fish Pot

The perfect warnemünde fish pot recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 piece Pollack fillet
  • 1 bunch Fresh dill
  • 2 piece Small onions
  • 0,5 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • Oil, salt and pepper, sugar
  • 1 a cup Creme fraiche Cheese
  1. In a saucepan, fry the onions until translucent, add the flour and make a roux. Deglaze with the milk and add the creme fraiche. Chop the dill and stir in. Add a pinch of sugar to taste with pepper and salt. Cut the fish into potion pieces and place on the sauce. Cover with sauce and let steep for at least an hour. The fish cooks in the sauce!
  2. Serve with salt, pellets or other potatoes. Enjoy your meal and have fun cooking at home.
  3. My tip: a dash of herb vinegar in the sauce! That’s the whistle …
