Heimi’s Fire Brigade Cake
The perfect heimi’s fire brigade cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Covering
- 50 g Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 100 g Butter
- 1 glass Cherries
- 1 packet Custard powder
- 250 ml Cherry juice
- 2 tbsp Sugar
Sprinkles
- 100 g Flour
- 50 g Sugar
- 50 g Almonds
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 75 g Butter
- 0,5 tsp Ground cinnamon
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees
- Make a shortcrust pastry from the ingredients. Lay out a greased springform pan.
- Drain the cherries, collect the juice, bring 250 ml with sugar to a boil and cook a pudding with 1 packet. Stir the cherries into the warm pudding. Let everything cool down and pour onto the dough, smooth out
- Make the sprinkles and place on top of the cherries.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes.
- Vanilla cream goes very well with it
