Smoked Trout Fillet with Lettuce and Crunchy Horseradish Bread

The perfect smoked trout fillet with lettuce and crunchy horseradish bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Salad dressing:

  • 2 Handful Pick lettuce or similar
  • 3 Discs Loaf
  • Cream of horseradish
  • Fresh chives rolls
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 small Diced onion
  • 1 toe Chopped garlic
  • 3 turns Pepper from the grinder
  • 1 turn Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Garlic pepper from my KB
  • 1 tsp Seasoned salt from my KB
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Agave syrup or some sugar
  • 1 Shot Lemon juice
  • 1 Shot Worcester sauce
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  1. Fillet trout or buy it ready-made! I had a very fresh, smoked, still lukewarm!
  2. Clean and wash the salad. Then lurch!
  3. Mix all ingredients for the salad dressing well and add the oil at the end, if necessary, season again!
  4. Halve the bread slices and toast them crispy in the toaster! Let cool and brush with cream horseradish! Sprinkle with fresh chives!
  5. Mix the salad in a bowl with the salad dressing and divide with the trout fillets and bread on two plates! Garnish with fresh chives if necessary!
