Leek Pancakes
The perfect leek pancakes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Flour
- 200 ml Milk
- 4 piece Eggs
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 Sip Mineral water
- 4 Poles Leek sticks young
- Pepper and salt
- Freshly harvested it tastes twice as good, but if necessary you can of course also buy leeks … I have laid out my first vegetable patch this year and every time I am allowed to harvest something, I am completely carried away by my “prey”. I had plenty of leeks and so the pancakes were more often on the table.
- Thoroughly beat eggs with flour, stir in milk and season with salt and pepper. Let rest for 10 minutes. Cut the leek into fine rings.
- Shortly before the dough goes into the pan, add some mineral water (with a lot of Bizzel). Drain the butter, pour a ladle of batter into the pan and sprinkle with a few rings of leek. Bake light yellow on both sides. Eating soon! I like a fresh lettuce with it, my children prefer a Nutella pancake … afterwards, not with it.
