Leek Pancakes

The perfect leek pancakes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Flour
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 4 piece Eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 Sip Mineral water
  • 4 Poles Leek sticks young
  • Pepper and salt
  1. Freshly harvested it tastes twice as good, but if necessary you can of course also buy leeks … I have laid out my first vegetable patch this year and every time I am allowed to harvest something, I am completely carried away by my “prey”. I had plenty of leeks and so the pancakes were more often on the table.
  2. Thoroughly beat eggs with flour, stir in milk and season with salt and pepper. Let rest for 10 minutes. Cut the leek into fine rings.
  3. Shortly before the dough goes into the pan, add some mineral water (with a lot of Bizzel). Drain the butter, pour a ladle of batter into the pan and sprinkle with a few rings of leek. Bake light yellow on both sides. Eating soon! I like a fresh lettuce with it, my children prefer a Nutella pancake … afterwards, not with it.
