Cheese and Leek Pancakes
The perfect cheese and leek pancakes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 Eggs
- 4 tbsp Sifted flour
- Salt and pepper
- 3 Spring onions
- 150 g Grated cheese
- 1 shot Natural carbonated mineral water
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Whisk the eggs in a small bowl. Sprinkle with flour and stir with a whisk until all the lumps have dissolved. Season boldly with salt and pepper. Stir in the cleaned and sliced spring onions and cheese. At the end stir in some carbonated mineral water.
- Let a non-stick pan get hot, add 1 tablespoon of oil. Put half of the egg mixture in the pan and bake two pancakes one after the other over medium heat in a few minutes until golden brown. Turn once in between. Enjoy your meal!
Variation: with bacon
- Instead of the spring onions, cut thin slices of pork belly into strips, fry them and add to the cheese and egg mixture. It’s just no longer vegetarian.
