Beijing Ginger Duck

The perfect beijing ginger duck recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the meat

  • 300 g Duck breast
  • 2 tbsp Sake
  • 4 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Food starch
  • 2 tbsp Broth
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tsp Ginger

  • 1 Cup Rice
  • 2 cups Water
  1. Cut the duck breast into bite-sized pieces, chop the onions. Put these in a freezer bag and add all the remaining ingredients for the meat and mix well. Then let it sit for about 20-30 minutes.
  2. Cook the rice with the given amount of water.
  3. Fry the meat until crispy brown in a pan. At the very end, add the rice to the pan, stir and let it steep for a moment.
