Squid Toast, Gratinated

The perfect squid toast, gratinated recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 St Slices of toast
  • 2 Protein
  • 100 g Grated cheese
  • 200 g Mayonnaise
  • 1 St Lemon fresh
  • Wild garlic butter or butter
  • 400 g Squid fillet
  • Parsley, salt, pepper, paprika
  • 8 St Wild garlic leaves or parsley

preparation

  1. Remove any silver skin from the squid fillet and cut into small cubes
  2. Preheat the oven to 200 °
  3. Make egg whites
  4. Briefly toast the toast (toaster or oven)
  5. Beat the mayonnaise with the spices and lemon juice until smooth

preparation

  1. Butter the bread slices and top with wild garlic leaves; alternatively parsley
  2. Mix the squid cubes and the “pimped” mayonnaise, distribute on the bread slices and cover with the egg whites, sprinkle with grated cheese
  3. Put it in the oven and bake for 10 minutes until the cheese is lightly browned

Serve

  1. Drizzle with lemon juice, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve quickly
