Vegan with Soy Flakes: Bolognese Sauce

  • 100 g Soy flakes
  • 2 medium sized Chopped onions
  • 1 medium sized Garlic cloves chopped
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • Salt
  • Ground pepper
  • 500 ml Passed tomatoes organic
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth *
  • 1 piece Bay leaf
  • Oregano if you like
  1. Brown the chopped onion and garlic in the oil.
  2. Then add the tomatoes and vegetable broth. Add the bay leaf.
  3. Mix everything together, season with salt & pepper. Now add the soy flakes and let everything simmer for a good 10 to 20 minutes. Place the lid at a slight angle.
