Onion Goulash
The perfect onion goulash recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1000 g Diced beef
- 1000 g Chopped onions
- 30 g Garlic, chopped
- 30 g Lard / fat
- 30 g Tomato paste
- 15 g Salt
- 2 g Ground caraway
- 2 g Ground pepper
- 1000 ml Water
- 3 Splash Tabasco
- Sear the meat in portions with the lard and place in a large saucepan
- Add onions, garlic, tomato paste, water and spices
- Let simmer for 2-6 hours. Depending on how long you want to cook, pour in plenty of water accordingly!
- If it simmered for a long time, add a little salt and season with a couple of dashes of Tabasco
