Onion Goulash

The perfect onion goulash recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1000 g Diced beef
  • 1000 g Chopped onions
  • 30 g Garlic, chopped
  • 30 g Lard / fat
  • 30 g Tomato paste
  • 15 g Salt
  • 2 g Ground caraway
  • 2 g Ground pepper
  • 1000 ml Water
  • 3 Splash Tabasco
  1. Sear the meat in portions with the lard and place in a large saucepan
  1. Add onions, garlic, tomato paste, water and spices
  1. Let simmer for 2-6 hours. Depending on how long you want to cook, pour in plenty of water accordingly!
  1. If it simmered for a long time, add a little salt and season with a couple of dashes of Tabasco
