Pineapple Cake with Marzipan
The perfect pineapple cake with marzipan recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Marzipan
- 175 g Butter
- 150 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 200 g Flour
- 0,5 packet Baking powder
- 100 g Potato flour
- 200 g Pineapple sauce, drained
- Grate the marzipan mixture (the easiest way is frozen), stir in the sugar and eggs until foamy, stir in the softened butter, then the grated marzipan mixture. Then gradually stir in the flour mixed with the baking powder and the starch. Finally fold in the drained pineapple cut into pieces.
- Fill into a prepared loaf pan, bake at 190 degrees (top and bottom heat) for approx. 60 – 65 minutes. Cover the cooled cake with icing to taste. (We like milk icing best, yummy.)
- Tip 3: This cake will be so loose that I would chop up the pineapple pieces even more
