Stew: Chakalaka Stew

The perfect stew: chakalaka stew recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

The sour meat:

  • 500 g Minced meat, mixed

The basic vegetable:

  • 1 medium sized Onion, roughly chopped
  • Chilli oil for frying
  • 1 Green peppers, diced
  • 1 Red peppers, diced
  • 0,5 Yellow peppers, diced
  • 0,5 L Water

The basic spices:

  • Chakalaka spice mix
  • 3 Bouillon cubes
  • Thai chili sauce extra hot
  • Lemongrass, powdered
  • Cubeb pepper from the mill
  • Lemon pepper

The sour cheese:

  • 150 Size Cream cheese
  1. Heat chili oil in a saucepan and fry the onion until translucent. Then add the meat and fry until crumbly.
  2. Now add the water, bring to the boil and add the paprika. Let the vegetables cook until they are cooked through. Then dissolve the processed cheese and season everything spicy.
  3. At the end of the cooking time, serve everything in deep plates. Tastes really great and is quite uncomplicated. Have fun with my single kitchen!
