Stew: Chakalaka Stew
The perfect stew: chakalaka stew recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
The sour meat:
- 500 g Minced meat, mixed
The basic vegetable:
- 1 medium sized Onion, roughly chopped
- Chilli oil for frying
- 1 Green peppers, diced
- 1 Red peppers, diced
- 0,5 Yellow peppers, diced
- 0,5 L Water
The basic spices:
- Chakalaka spice mix
- 3 Bouillon cubes
- Thai chili sauce extra hot
- Lemongrass, powdered
- Cubeb pepper from the mill
- Lemon pepper
The sour cheese:
- 150 Size Cream cheese
- Heat chili oil in a saucepan and fry the onion until translucent. Then add the meat and fry until crumbly.
- Now add the water, bring to the boil and add the paprika. Let the vegetables cook until they are cooked through. Then dissolve the processed cheese and season everything spicy.
- At the end of the cooking time, serve everything in deep plates. Tastes really great and is quite uncomplicated. Have fun with my single kitchen!
