Canned Herring (marinated Herring)
The perfect canned herring (marinated herring) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 Pc. Herring fillet
- 300 g Sour cream
- 100 ml Milk
- 1 Pc Sour cucumber
- 0,25 Apple
- 1 Spring onions, normal works too
- 200 ml Cream
- Matjes fillets, if bought in oil, dab a little with kitchen roll. Place the fillets whole or in pieces in a bowl. Cut the spring onion, apple and pickled cucumber into small pieces and add to them. then whisk together the sour cream, milk and, if desired, cream
