Oven Slip with Apples and Lemon Curd

The perfect oven slip with apples and lemon curd recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Apples
  • 1,5 pack Milk roll
  • 1 Shot Milk
  • 4 Eggs size L.
  • 1 a cup Cream 30% fat
  • 2 bag Vanilla sugar
  • 1 bag Flaked almonds
  • 50 g Cane sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon. Cinammon
  • 2 Eßl. Lemon juice
  • 3 Teaspoon. Lemon Curd heaped)
  • Release spray or grease for the mold
  1. Cut the milk rolls into slices
  2. Peel and core the apples and cut into wedges. Drizzle with lemon juice and mix with the lemon curd. Lemon Curd (I am still setting the recipe for do-it-yourself – but you can get it from the Edeka Group – it says at the jams – 2 types are offered costs between 3 and 6 euros. In this recipe I used the one I bought, see picture)
  3. Grease the baking sheet and place with the slices on top (upright). Then put the apple wedges in between.
  4. Mix the eggs with the cream, milk and vanilla sugar until frothy and spread over the milk rolls. Scatter with the flaked almonds. Mix the cane sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle on top.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven (fan oven 170 degrees) for about 30-35 minutes
