Waffles: Brussels Waffles

The perfect waffles: brussels waffles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g Butter
  • 125 g Flour
  • 4 Eggs separated
  • 1 Tl Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 125 ml Milk
  • 1 Vanilla pod scraped out
  • Powdered sugar
  1. Beat the very soft butter with the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla until frothy, then stir in the flour and milk until you have a smooth mixture.
  2. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Then slowly fold into the mass. Brush a waffle iron with butter and bake golden yellow waffles. Finally sprinkle with powdered sugar.
