Pancakes with Berries

The perfect pancakes with berries recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Eggs
  • 150 g Whole wheat flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 500 g Mixed berries
  • 4 tbsp Oil for baking
  • Icing sugar for sprinkling
  • Lemon balm for garnish
  1. Separate the eggs. Mix the egg yolks with the flour, salt, honey and milk to form a pancake batter.
  1. Clean the berries, if necessary, wash and drain well.
  1. Then beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the dough.
  1. Heat 1 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Put a quarter of the batter in the pan and sprinkle a quarter of the berries on top.
  1. Cover and let the pancake stand, bake the underside until light brown. Carefully turn the pancake, bake it again until light brown and take it out of the pan. Bake 3 more pancakes from the remaining batter.
  1. Sprinkle the pancakes with powdered sugar and serve garnished with lemon balm.
