Pancakes with Berries
The perfect pancakes with berries recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Eggs
- 150 g Whole wheat flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 200 ml Milk
- 500 g Mixed berries
- 4 tbsp Oil for baking
- Icing sugar for sprinkling
- Lemon balm for garnish
- Separate the eggs. Mix the egg yolks with the flour, salt, honey and milk to form a pancake batter.
- Clean the berries, if necessary, wash and drain well.
- Then beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the dough.
- Heat 1 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Put a quarter of the batter in the pan and sprinkle a quarter of the berries on top.
- Cover and let the pancake stand, bake the underside until light brown. Carefully turn the pancake, bake it again until light brown and take it out of the pan. Bake 3 more pancakes from the remaining batter.
- Sprinkle the pancakes with powdered sugar and serve garnished with lemon balm.
