Steamed Noodles 10-12 Pieces
The perfect steamed noodles 10-12 pieces recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Making dough:
- 500 g Sifted flour
- 1 packet Yeast
- 60 g Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Pc. Egg
- 0,125 liter Milk
To bake :
- 2 tablespoon Margarine
- 1 Cup Water cold
- 1 teaspoon Salt
get ready.
- 0,25 lb Butter
- 100 g Poppy
or vanilla sauce:
- 1 packet Custard powder
- 0,5 liter Milk
- 0,25 Pc. Vanilla pods (pulp only)
Pre-dough:
- Put the flour in a bowl. Crumble the yeast in the middle in a well, sprinkle sugar on the yeast. Put the egg and salt on the edge.
- Slowly add the milk over the hollow, let it rise a little.

- Mix the dough well. cover with a tea towel and let rise until the dough has reached the edge. Can take 1-2 hours.

to bake :
- Put the magarine in a hot cast iron pan, insert steamed noodles 4-5 pieces per pan.
Salt water:
- Mix the water and salt. Pour carefully around the steamed noodles. Put the lid on for 5 minutes on high heat, then reduce a little. At the end you can hear when the water is running low, there is then a crackling sound, this is the time when the nice crust comes. Watch out now.
