Mediterranean Fish Platter

The perfect mediterranean fish platter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Boquerones
  • 2 piece Hake
  • 6 Scallops
  • 6 small Squids
  • 6 Fresh prawns
  • Flor de Sal
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 El Extra virgin olive oil
  • Herbs of your choice, e.g. oregano, rosemary, but little,
  • Lemon thyme, all very finely chopped
  1. Cut off the heads of the boquerones and take out the innards
  2. Clean the squids, peel off the skin and remove the insides as well
  3. Clean the shrimp and remove the intestines
  4. Cut a few slices of the hake, clean them and season them with a little salt
  5. Put the scallops, prawns and squids on a skewer and grill, this time I grilled it in the oven
  6. In the meantime, lightly flour the boquerones and fry them in, unfortunately, plenty of hot olive oil. They don’t take long. The skewers are ready in about 8 minutes. The Boquerones don’t need any longer either.
  7. I only seasoned everything at the end. I like to use a homemade oil and a coarse Flor de Sal.
  8. I served it with my homemade Spanish garlic sauce. It tasted good to us.
