Mediterranean Fish Platter
The perfect mediterranean fish platter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Boquerones
- 2 piece Hake
- 6 Scallops
- 6 small Squids
- 6 Fresh prawns
- Flor de Sal
- 1 Lemon
- 1 El Extra virgin olive oil
- Herbs of your choice, e.g. oregano, rosemary, but little,
- Lemon thyme, all very finely chopped
- Cut off the heads of the boquerones and take out the innards
- Clean the squids, peel off the skin and remove the insides as well
- Clean the shrimp and remove the intestines
- Cut a few slices of the hake, clean them and season them with a little salt
- Put the scallops, prawns and squids on a skewer and grill, this time I grilled it in the oven
- In the meantime, lightly flour the boquerones and fry them in, unfortunately, plenty of hot olive oil. They don’t take long. The skewers are ready in about 8 minutes. The Boquerones don’t need any longer either.
- I only seasoned everything at the end. I like to use a homemade oil and a coarse Flor de Sal.
- I served it with my homemade Spanish garlic sauce. It tasted good to us.
