Casserole: Oatmeal Casserole with Plums

The perfect casserole: oatmeal casserole with plums recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 ml Milk
  • 60 g Oatmeal, delicate as a blossom
  • 10 g Butter
  • 3 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 Msp Ground cinnamon
  • 2 piece Eggs
  • 250 g Quark
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 500 g Plums
  • Butter flakes
  1. Let the oat flakes trickle into the cold milk and then bring to the boil. Make a thick pulp for approx. 7 minutes while stirring constantly.
  2. Stir in the butter, sugar, salt and cinnamon and allow the porridge to cool.
  3. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites into snow.
  4. Mix the oatmeal porridge with the quark and egg yolks and add a tablespoon of sugar.
  5. Fold in the egg whites and pour half of the mixture into a larger greased casserole dish, because the casserole will rise.
  6. Core the plums. Now distribute this brick-like on the oatmeal mixture.
  7. Spread the second half of the dough over it, put flakes of butter on top and bake at 190 degrees lower / upper heat in the preheated oven until a light brown crust has formed.
  8. Arrange the casserole on preheated plates and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
