Quark Casserole with Plums
The perfect quark casserole with plums recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Freshly pitted plum
- 4 Pc. Free range eggs
- 100 g Soft butter
- 750 g Quark
- 100 g Sugar
- 80 g Durum wheat semolina
- 1 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp Breadcrumbs
- Wash, stone and quarter the plums
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
- Separate the eggs – 80gr. Beat the butter and sugar until frothy, then mix in the egg yolks
- Carefully mix in the quark and durum wheat semolina
- Beat the egg whites with vanilla sugar until the mixture is glossy
- Fold the plums and egg whites into the mixture
- Grease the baking dish well and pour in the mixture. Sprinkle with the breadcrumbs and spread the remaining 20 g butter (as flakes) over it
- Tip 8: If you like it sweet, you can sprinkle sugar over the casserole instead of the breadcrumbs and then caramelize the casserole
