Quark Casserole with Plums

The perfect quark casserole with plums recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Freshly pitted plum
  • 4 Pc. Free range eggs
  • 100 g Soft butter
  • 750 g Quark
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 80 g Durum wheat semolina
  • 1 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  1. Wash, stone and quarter the plums
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
  3. Separate the eggs – 80gr. Beat the butter and sugar until frothy, then mix in the egg yolks
  4. Carefully mix in the quark and durum wheat semolina
  5. Beat the egg whites with vanilla sugar until the mixture is glossy
  6. Fold the plums and egg whites into the mixture
  7. Grease the baking dish well and pour in the mixture. Sprinkle with the breadcrumbs and spread the remaining 20 g butter (as flakes) over it
  8. Tip 8: If you like it sweet, you can sprinkle sugar over the casserole instead of the breadcrumbs and then caramelize the casserole
