Ice Cream: Ginger Vanilla Ice Cream

The perfect ice cream: ginger vanilla ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 ml Milk
  • 100 g Candied ginger
  • 1 pcs Fresh ginger
  • 4 Egg yolks
  • 3 El Sugar
  • 1 just Vanilla flavor
  • 1 shot Vanilla syrup
  • 1 just Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 200 ml Liquor 43
  1. Chop the ginger, peel the fresh ginger, add everything to the milk and bring to the boil, let it steep for half an hour.
  2. Put the egg yolks and sugar in a bowl and bring the milk to the boil again, then sieve and add to the eggs, whip over steam until a thick consistency is obtained. Let cool.
  3. Add the liqueur, vanilla syrup and flavor. Whip the cream until stiff. Stir everything together to taste and add a little more syrup if necessary, put everything in an ice cream maker until it is firm.
